On 22 October, Ambassador Jin Zhijian attended the Annual General Meeting of Icelandic Chinese Cultural Society (ICCS) and delivered a speech.
In his speech, Ambassador Jin congratulated to Mr. Þorkell Ólafur Árnason on his re-election as the chairman of ICCS, and expressed his appreciation to ICCS for its contribution to promoting the people-to-people exchanges and friendship between Iceland and China, stressing that the Embassy is willing to work together with ICCS to further promote the bilateral relations for new developments. Ambassador Jin also introduced the great achievements China has made over the past 70 years, especially on its diplomatic front. He also briefed the audience with the latest development in practical cooperation of all fields between the two countries, and answered question on the Belt and Road Initiatives and other heated topics from the audience.
