Ambassador He Rulong was invited to attend the opening ceremony of the Icelandic Parliament on September 8. At a reception following the opening, the Ambassador exchanged views with Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir, Speaker of Althingi Þórunn Sveinbjarnardóttir and other Icelandic dignitaries on bilateral relations, the international situation and other issues of common concern. Speaker Þórunn Sveinbjarnardóttir also had a group photo with Ambassadors and representatives of the Diplomatic Corps in Iceland.
