To further facilitate cross-border exchanges between China and foreign countries, the Chinese government has decided to extend the unilateral visa-free policy for nationals of Iceland and the following 45 countries (listed below) until 24:00 on December 31, 2026.

During the validity period of this policy, holders of ordinary passports from the countries concerned may enter China without a visa for purposes of business, tourism, family visits, transit, or exchanges, for a stay of no more than 30 days.

Travelers who do not meet the visa-free entry conditions are required to obtain a visa before traveling to China.
