Chinese Delegation Attends the Second Arctic Circle Assembly in Iceland

  Mr. Jia Guide, Deputy Director General of the Department of Treaty and Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, led a Chinese delegation, consisting of officials and experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, State Oceanic Administration and COSCO, to attend the Second Arctic Circle Assembly, which was held in Reykjavik from 31 October to 2 November 2014. The delegation also met with H.E. Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, President of Iceland, and H.E. Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson, Foreign Minister of Iceland. Ambassador Zhang Weidong met with the delegation and attended the relevant activities.
