On January 13, Ambassador Jin Zhijian was invited to the lunch meeting of Rotary Club in Gardabaer and delivered a speech on China Iceland Relations. More than 30 club members attended the meeting. Ambassador Jin briefed the audience with the development of China and reviewed the history and latest development of bilateral relations in political, economic and trade, and people-to-people exchanges. He introduced in details the great opportunity provided by the Belt and Road Initiative to the cooperation between China and Iceland, and expected that people from all walks of life in both countries will work together to make greater progress in bilateral relations.
Ambassador Jin also answered questions on Polar Silk Road and China's human rights record, which received positive feedback.
