On February 20, Chinese Ambassador Jin Zhijian visited deCODE Genetics' headquarters in Reykjavik, Iceland, and had a friendly conversation with Dr. Kári Stefánsson, founder and CEO of deCODE.

Ambassador Jin listened with interest of the briefing of the company's development, introduced Dr. Stefánsson of China's latest progress in fighting against the COVID-19 epidemic, and discussed with him about the possibility of conducting cooperation between China and Iceland in gene research.
