The First China-Iceland Live Streaming Week is Launched in Iceland

On May 8, the First China-Iceland Live Streaming Week was held in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Chinese Ambassador HE Rulong attended the launching ceremony and delivered a keynote speech, with company of Commercial Counsellor Dai Ke.

Ambassador He introduced the latest economic situation in China, saying this event will promote mutually beneficial cooperation in e-commerce between China and Iceland, and inject new momentum into bilateral relations.

Mr. Ingvi Már Pálsson, Director General of Ministry of Culture and Business Affairs of Iceland, and Mr. Pétur Óskarsson, CEO of Business Iceland, delivered speeches on behalf of the Icelandic side, expressing their willingness to promote e-commerce cooperation between Iceland and China.

The "First China-Iceland Live Streaming Week" was co-hosted by the Chinese Embassy and the Ministry of Culture and Business Affairs of Iceland, with strong support from Business Iceland and Ismoli Group. Nearly 100 representatives from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture and Business Affairs, Business Iceland and business circles of Iceland attended the event. The Chinese e-commerce giant Douyin and KOLs from China will conduct a week-long business investigation and live steaming activities in Iceland.
