On September 2, Ambassador He Rulong toured Bioeffect and met with its founder Björn L. Örvar and CEO Liv Bergþórsdóttir.



Accompanied by Mr. Björn L. Örvar and Ms. Liv Bergþórsdóttir, Ambassador He visited the ecologically-engineered greenhouse and the headquarter of Bioeffect, and inquired about its production process, development story, products exports and others. Ambassador He said that, Bioeffect is one of the most representative Icelandic brands in the Chinese market, a vast market with a huge number of consumers. As China and Iceland continue to facilitate personnel exchanges, he believed Bioeffect could bring its technological advantages into full play for a broader Chinese market and inject new vitality into the economic cooperation and trade between the two sides.




Mr. Björn L. Örvar and Ms. Liv Bergþórsdóttir welcomed Ambassador He and expressed that China is one of Bioeffect’s main market with broad prospects. Bioeffect will continue to expand its business by deepening cooperation with China, with a view to facilitating China-Iceland practical cooperation.
