On May 3, Ambassador He Rulong visited Reykjavík Metropolitan Police (RMP) and met with Police Commissioner Halla Bergþóra Björnsdóttir to exchange views on further strengthening the safety and security of Chinese citizens and tourists in Iceland.

Ambassador He Rulong spoke positively of RMP for its strong support to the Embassy and its efforts in ensuring safety and security of Chinese citizens and tourists in Iceland. The Embassy is willing to advance cooperation with RMP to jointly guarantee the safety and security of Chinese citizens and tourists in Iceland.

Police Commissioner Halla Bergþóra Björnsdóttir thanked the Embassy for its long-term support to RMP, and indicated RMP’s willingness to continue its support to the Embassy and make unremitting efforts to safeguard the security of Chinese citizens and tourists in Iceland with a view to strengthening the friendship between China and Iceland.
